Movements all over the league

Many moves during this Christmas brake... The most actives teams name to pop up during this time were the usual trade addicts... San Jose, Florida, Pittsburgh, St Louis, Calgary and New Jersey.

The league saw big name players change address such as Datsyuk to San Jose, Samsonov to Pittsburgh, Slava Kozlov to Florida, Philippe Boucher to the Wild or R.Regehr to the Flames.

Keeping their direction line of looking forward to the future, the devils, kings and sharks managed to improve their youth pool by adding key 1rst round picks or prospects that could become assets for the mid to long term.

Panthers and penguins looks to be in harmony as they managed no less than 4 trades between the 2 teams in 1 week. Something close to a Guinness record.

Stay tuned as many more trades will be coming up at season start due for the beginning of January.

 Inside the Pacific Division...

A more than solid division that will give headaches to most teams in the league... Either right now or in the long term future, this division should witness more highlights than bloopers. Let's take a look at what's cooking in this side of the CMHL.

Quite active on the trading side, the team shows an impressive amount of talent... Offensively lead by Zednik and Kovalchuk, you shouldn't be surprised of seeing the later on the top of the scoring shit by the end of the season... With goaltender Roberto Luongo, the defence that look shaky at first should get a lot of stability with such great goaltending. Chemistry of the lines should dictate where they'll stand come playoff time.

Another proof of the depth of this division. the Ducks will be a power to checkout for as we enter the season in January. With so much big names and talent either upfront or at the blue line, we only wish them good luck and see you later... the salary cap is very close tho, but that's what makes them such a deep team...

Peter Forsberg... If you wondered where he was, don't look anymore. With such a player in the team everything could happen... with the addition of P.Datsyuk, more danger is yet to be seen from this team. A team that could be very attractive to watch shortly.

Here's the long shot of the CMHL. If they win this year and you did bet a penny on them, you'll be rich. But in 2 to 3 seasons, they'll be on the top of the pyramid...

Ovechkin, Tkachuk, Shane Doan, the team is similar to the SJ sharks in several ways. some great names mixed with youth that could be imposing themselves is the chemistry is there. A team worth gambling for.
