Islanders change Written by Moll - November 17th, 2008
Islander Gm,Moll, Is not happy with the way the team is playing since the start of the season. They have one of the worst record in the cmhl. GM Moll have been very aggresive in trade talk and is looking for a lot of change.

Since the end of last years the NYI have been the team to bet. They are the stanley cup champion and nobody is taking them littly. Some players seem to have problem with the additionnal pressure. GM Moll had this to say today: "" I'm very disapointed about the way we are competing. The player seem to have difficulty to adjust to the new challenge of being stanley cup champion. We start to move some of those but other are on the bubble too."" Since one week the NYI have trade a lot of key player. Player like Salei, Gagné, Backes, Ott, Kostopoulos, Odonnel and Savard are all gone. They have been replace by: Kariya, Huselius, Bergeron, Malone, Hainsey, Oduya, Carter. Moll had that to say:"" We decide to clean the house a little. WE saw nthat we had a lot of older player that weren't producing like they should. We decide to bring some fresh blood in the mix. We are still trying to turn this team around and if those change doesn't work we might nlook somewhere else."" When Moll was ask what could be the someone else, he respond by saying that nobody is safe...Not event the coaches. And that he better find a way to make this team win game...and fast!
