Change In NEW YORK Written by Moll - December 23rd, 2008
The christmas break didn't stop Islander GM, Moll, from trading. He decide to trade 2 important player to get new blood in his team.

the Islander is looking to turn thing around and have now successfully build a great 1 line. On paper, this could be one of the best 1 line of the cmhl. Kovalchuk, Tkachuk and Perry could be a potential offensive explosion. Kovalchuk and Tkachuk have just been acquired. We paid a lot to get those player on our team but thing that they deserve it. Kovalchuk is gonna be a Islander for ever. He will be a great leader for us and for a long time. He is one of the best in the game. Tkachuk is a lot older but has long has he produce and want to play for us he will be welcome. We acquire some new talent on defence too. With Mckee and Redden gone we have acquire Jeff Shulz and Brian Pothier. Its hard to replace a Redden but Schulzt potential is very high. He is already a good cmhl player and could become a star one day. Pothier is only a fill out. He will be good for the 6 defenceman. Moll gm is extremely please with the way this team is build now. But he is still on the market for a true PP quaterback and a second line RW. We have a lot of great defenceman in the minor an Ward and Staois are on the bubble right now. They could be trade at any moment event for a pick.
