East shows West how its done in CMHL All-Star Game Written by habsfan93 - January 24th, 2010

Some terrific chemistry between Pavel Datsyuk and Marian Hossa couldn't save the West as the Eastern Conference won the game by a final margin of 5-3 Sunday. Even in a loss, Hossa was named the game MVP with 2 goals and 1 assist on 4 shots.

Evgeni Malkin and Fredrik Modin for the East were named the 2nd and 3rd stars of the game. Malkin and Modin each potted a goal and an assist to lead the way for the East in a game that was a little more traditional compared to yesterday's ICHF game. Although there were a couple of penalties, this game was all about offence and some dazzling saves from the star goalies is all that kept the score low.

The game was located in Dallas, Texas, as the Stars won the lottery and the right to host the game, along with a $5,000,000 cash injection to their bottom line.
