Sharks' Langenbrunner requests a trade Written by Shmuly - September 1st, 2010
San Jose's cap problems may be resolved by trade request. San Jose's invaluable Veteran Right Jamie Langenbrunner says "It's best for us to part ways, I'm an all star" Langenbrunner stated "It's unfortunate I have to leave San Jose, I just need to have my all-star status acknowledge unfortunately that's not here" Read more..

The Veteran Right Winger's egotistical behaviour has come about probably by his 3 year contract paying him $7,300,000 per season. When San Jose's Assistant General Manager was asked about the contract he said "It preceded by time here in San Jose and around the CMHL altogether, when Jamie was acquired we expected him to honor his contract but he refused. Obviously Mr. Langenbrunner had a tough year last year. If Dan and I can manage a way to move him I'll be thrilled" San Jose General Manager Dan Ramage did not comment on Langenbrunner's comments. Another issue on hand is the ICHF affiliate of the Sharks, California Golden Seals. Golden Seals GM Shmuly Reynolds says he is looking for a deal for Goalie Josh Tordjman. Prospect Philip McRae is also reported on the move.
