NYI season 7 preview Written by Moll - October 14th, 2010
This season will be a very important year for Moll and the New York Islanders. After finish in the bottom 10 in the league the past 2 years, we hope that this year will be the year of the Islander

The season 7 team have been build for the past 2 seasons. We took a lot of good player the last 2 years and we put them in our minor system so that they can get rerarte. Now that we feel our team can competed, we will do every thing we can to make it happen. We are also a lot deeper than every before. Our ICHF team should be a very good one again this year. Our prospect bank have become solid and look to have a bright future. Here is your New York Islander starting Lineup: B.Ryan - A.Vermette - C.Perry J.Jokinen - T.Bozak - P.Hornqvist T.Brouwer - J.Stoll - D.Clarkson E.Moreau - J.Winchester - F.Sjostrom T.Kaberle - R.Whitney M.Komisarek - R.Klesla B.Witt - J.Demers J.Hiller M.Biron We finally found a center to help Bobby Ryan and Corey Perry take thei game to the next level. Vermette combine good scoring, passing and some much needed defence to help this line. We hope this line could become one of the most dangerous line in the cmhl. Our 2 lines has a lot of exlamation point. Those 3 players just got great rerate. We never know what can happen. We hope Bozak and Hornqvist can become Calder candidated. We love Jokinen versatility since he can event play center and win a lot of faceoff. We are absolutly in love with our 3 line. It combined a lot of grid, checking and speed. We thing this line could be very versatile, since they can score and play great defence. The 4 lines will bring a little bit of everything. We have some caracter, some experience and some defence. For the defence, we have a lot of possibily. That is our top 6 right now but we have Smid, Erik Jonhson, Theo Peckham, Mark Stuart that will see some action this years. We will rotated those 4 will Jason Demers for 15 games each so that they all have their rerated at the end of the season. In net, Hiller will have finally his chance to shine in New York. He has always play well has a backup but now will be a full time goalie. We have Martin Biron has a veteran backup to help Hiller in case of problem.
