Sebastian Aho and Johnny Gaudreau showcased their talent to the Tampa Bay Lightning opponents during the 9th week of the CMHL season, and the rest of the league noticed!

Aho put together a ridiculous 2 goals and 7 assists in 3 games during the week for 9 points, while his linemate Gaudreau scored 5 goals and added 3 assistes for a stellar 8 point run.  Their play earned them accolades as the week's first and second stars respectively, as selected by the GMs in the league.

Both players are having sensational seasons.  Aho has accumulated 16 goals and 34 assists for 50 points in 30 games, putting him in a tie for third in league scoring, 4 points back of Brad Marchand.  Gaudreau has notched 20 goals and added 23 assists for 43 points in 30 games, which has time currently tied for 5th overall in CMHL scoring.

Aho, 24 years old, is in the first year of a 4 year $5,000,001 contract, while Gaudreau, who is 28, is in year 2 of a 4 year $5,385,803 contract.

The Lightning have 9 players in excess of one half point per game.  Up front, beside Aho and Gaudreau, the club has forwards Noel Acciarri (13-10), Nino Neiderreiter (8-15), Tom Wilson (11-10) and Matt Tkachuk (5-12) in that club, along with D-men Mark Giordano (7-18), Kris Letang (5-20) and Mark Borowiecki (7-11).
