Tampa Bay Lightning GM is back!
This past season was a very frustrating one for Tampa Bay GM Dave Normoyle, as he battled some health issues throughout much of the season. Said issues kept the club's GM from the involvement he would typically have with the club.
While not yet 100 percent recovered, the GM has stated that the back and hip issues he has dealt with are likely as good as they will ever be, and it's time to focus on the coming season.
"I am likely as healthy in that regard as I will ever be, short of probable surgery down the road, and as such I've decided to go back to overseeing the team after coming off a terrible season. The management and shareholders expect better, and my goal is to do all that I can to produce a better product than we did last season."
The returning GM believes it will take a little time to get settled in again, but expects to have his team ready to go sooner than later.
