Devils Re-Rate Checkin
Written by Jeff Roberts - December 16th, 2022
I like to keep tabs on where my players are trending in terms of re-rates each season, which helps tells me who will be sticking around, and who I try to sell off to a GM that may not be paying attention (only half kidding here)
Through 27 games played, the Devils have racked up 102 goals, which is currently 5th in the league. The scoring however seems to be pretty even with only Marner and Sutter currently on pace for a 90+ scoring rate. Other than Hyman, the rest of the group is on pace to receive a less than 80 SC rate. Something I wrestle with each season is, should I max out my scoring sliders and try to rack up points for better re-rates, or continue to play a defensive game and try to win. This year I think this team can win, but if the wheels fall off, we'll definitly switch to a run and gun style to pump the stats.
Devils Pleasant Re-rate Surprises

It's about that time of year where I begin to look to next season, specifically what ratings my current players will have for next season, using the formulas found here: https://cmhlrangers.proboards.com/thread/23491/season-14-final-rerate-formulas. To my knowledge, there hasn't been any changes.

Devils Get Make Early Trade Deadline Push
Written by Marty - February 28th, 2009
The New Jersey Devils are the CMHL's most up/down team ever. One season their pushing for the stanley cup and another season their destroying everything in an attempt to land high picks and rebuild.
Season 5 seems to be following the trend of making the playoffs and the Devils have made a couple moves to hopefully break free from what was described "The clusterf*ck that is the Eastern Conference playoff race."
New Jersey Devils - A Mid-Season Review
Written by habsfan93 - January 20th, 2009
Since winning the Stanley Cup in Season 3, it's been a tough ride for the New Jersey Devils. Falling short of the playoffs in Season 4 amidst some terrific goaltending, the Devils came into Season 5 in good spirits and with high hopes. Neither of those elements have faded yet as the Devils march forward in Season 5, their heads high.
Fight For Glory

2 Years removed from winning the CMHL Stanley Cup, and 1 year removed from finishing in the bottom 10 of the league. The New Jersey Devils are now preparing for season 5, and coming with it is a new start. A renewed passion, a new revamped team philosophy, and the biggest roster overturn the Devils implemented since season 2. No More rebuilding, no more last place finishes, no more happy with "it is what it is", no more complacentcy..
