$20 each from the GMs of Winnipeg & Florida versus $20 from Boston & Edmonton go into a vault to inlr be scooped by the winners. Total regular season points of WIN-FLA vs BOS-EDM is the bet and a fair bit of trash has already littered the CMHL boards.
Winnipeg has, arguably, their best 1,2,3 punch of centermen they've ever had. Stamkos, Staal and Scheiffle are the spine of this team and are expected to be eating up major minutes all year.
Max Pacioretty returns to the team to be a scoring threat as well as newcomers Jacob Silfverberg and Craig Smith.
"We believe there us enough talent across all 4 lines to be a difficult team to play against. We have scoring all over the lineup and as long as chemistry is not elusive we should have a very good year." GM Simon said. "The biggest games of the year, obviously, are in our division. We've got some "friendlies" we've managed to fit into the season vs some weaker competition in Boston and Edmonton and those games will be free for our fans to come and watch. We dont expect these games will be very intense."
