GM Introduction Written by foofighter95 - June 15th, 2010
Chicago GM Introduces Himself To The League.

Hi folks, My name is Onzie Secord and I'm the newest GM of the Chicago Blackhawks. I live in a little town called Elliot Lake, smack dab in the middle of the wilds of Northern Ontario. I've been married to my wonderful wife for 6 years now, and even though we have no kids of our own, we've opened our house to foster children. In fact we're taking care of three young girls right now. I play recreational softball and watch all kinds of sports on the tube, everything from baseball and hockey, to golf and soccer (No really). I have 4 cats and a dog, a sheppard/husky mix named Susie. So as you can well imagine, our house gets kinda crazy at times. I'm checking out my team and I have a pretty general idea on how i want to improve it. And obviously it can be improved. I also want to make the playoffs in both leagues, whether or not that will actually happen, I don't know. But I will give it everything I have. Blackhawk fans deserve it. I guess in closing I'd like to thank Dave for putting in a few good words for me, and I would like to say I look forward to getting to know each of you better as we move along. Thanks guys! Onz

Welcome aboard Onzie!

I hope that the rivalry between our clubs will continue with you on board.

I only wish you were in my Conference so I could hand out 2x the humbling to you.  You will be a terrific addition to the league for sure.  Welcome aboard, and please stop advertising that I put in a word for you, it is tough enough to earn respect in this league without that king of stuff for GMs to hold against me :p
