General Manager Jaroslav Moosenov is back and kicking. an Unfortunate Front Office Change had to be made that added depth to it's rankings... Michael Baran unfortunately had to resign from the office of Assistant General Manager , Peter Truszkowski was immeadiately appointed to the position. But there was another severe blowout in management that I must address immeadiately.

The Chicago Blackhawks have acquired Derian Hatcher from the Montreal Canadiens for Noah Welch , Chicago's 4th in 2009 and Buffalo's 1st in 2009. Why? Defensive Depth and now they have three defenseman that will destroy the opposition.

The Chicago Blackhawks have traded Marco Sturm to Colorado Avalanche for Dustin Penner. Penner is expected to develop well on the Thornton-Ovechkin line while Steve Bernier is finally bumped back to the Sedin Line.

Chicago and Edmonton had a duel that won't be forgotten. Jarome Iginla and Alexander Ovechkin traded hat-ricks as the Oilers edged the streaking Blackhawks. When speaking to the press after the game both Head Coach Ron Wilson and General Manager Jaroslav Moosenov reffered to the Oilers as "a better team with a great general manager" Moosenov said his team is "great" but the Oilers have more "team work and fire-power" It was a very long press interview between the press , the GM , and the Coach.

Alexander Ovechkin , Juraj Simek and Nick Palmieri led the Chicago Blackhawks to a 6-1 Victory over the Nashville Predators. Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin played very well and Marco Sturm was held pointless on the 4th line.
