The Colorado Avalanche have a new face of the organization as earlier today, the team was handed over to Geordie Cooper. Geordie comes in with almost 10 years of SIM experience split over two different leagues and just so happens to be a massive Avalanche fan.
"In all my years of SIM hockey, the oppurtunity to manage my favourite team has never come up until now and it is an honour to be trusted with this team"
Cooper has already has a good look over the team and has some adjustments in mind. However, the team, despite it's apparent reputation, is doing rather well and, thus, the changes will be far from drastic.
"I'm looking at the farm team and prospect list and just drooling at what the future in Colorado is going to look like. There's more than enough to work with here and with the exception of a few tweaks here and there to fit some people into the lineup, not much is likely to change. I have to remenber that these guys have been playing together all year and seem to be gelling nicely. I'm the new face, here, and the last thing I want to do is rock the boat too much in an attempt to make my presence known."
Cooper has offically submitted his first set of lines, albeit by email due to technical issues, and will look to get his first win against the Kings.
